The bar on the building construction is one of the parameters that influence the structural behavior, thus in determining the needed amount and diameter the constructor needs a plan being in line with the prescribed rule. One of the Indonesian regions which suffer from earthquake is Yogyakarta; the biggest earthquake within the last 15 years was happened in May 27th, 2006, which caused the lost of many inhabitants and the collapse of many buildings, especially in Kabupaten Bantul. In this area there are lots of university buildings and one of them is Institut Seni Rupa Indonesia (ISI) Yogyakarta. When the earthquake occurred, this building did not have any significant damage. In this thesis, the researcher is recounting the plat, block and column baring on the construction based on the data obtained from practical report (Praktek Kerja Lapangan) of Erani in 1997 on the construction of Institut Seni Rupa Indonesia Yogyakarta building. In addition, within the report there is no method and calculation being used in determining the barring. In this thesis, the researcher compares the existing result within the report by using calculation method based on SK SNI 03-2847-2002 |
