Along with the increased opulation growthin the hamletvillage Kuwon Pacarejo Semanu Gunung Kidul District of Yogyakarta,theever increasing need for clean water that can cause people lack clean water for the needs of their every day lives. While the supply of clean water reservoirs of this are adoes not exist.For that we need a solution that is by improving the quality of the water into fresh water ponds. In the area of village hamlets Kuwon Pacarejo Semanu Gunung Kidul District there are several ponds that are still functioning properly, one of which is Embung Ledok. Based on visual observations such as color, temperature, odorand turbidity of water in ponds Ledok, it was concluded that water ponds Ledok basically not feasible to clean water but can befor house hold needs (raw water),there by improving the quality needs to be done. To find the optimal way of water purification is done inexperiments with three stages of water purification that is settling, filtration and coagulasi by filtration. Based on the results of the precipitation test, screening test results and test has water evaporation ponds can be concluded there Ledok fineclay content of grains (sedimentary kite) so it can not be clarified by sedimentation and filtration, but by means of water filtration ponds coagulasi Ledok be clarified. |
