Abstract

Early Childhood Education (Pendidikan Anak Usia Dini) provides very young children (from birth to age 6 years) with appropriate teaching so they can grow and progress both physically and spiritually, preparing them to be sucessful in their succeeding formal schooling experience. This is important because their receiving early training during this period in their lives will equip them to successfully reach their full potential as their education progresses. The term multiple intelligences has several definitions, including 1) the ability to think in several spheres; 2) the ability to adapt to new situations and learn from their experiences; 3) the ability to solve problems and achieve a successful end result in the situations they face. Types ofmultiple intelligencesinclude: linguistic intelligence, logical-mathmatic intelligence, spatial intelligence, bodily-kinesthetic intelligence, musical intelligence, interpersonal intelligence, intrapersonal intelligence, naturalist intelligence and exisitential intelligence. A learning model based on multiple intelligences looks at the student
