Children are individuals who are precious in the sight of the Lord. It is not surprising that in the mist of His busy schedule, the Lord Jesus still has time for them, even though His disciples were trying to keep them away from Jesus. The characteristic that was shown by Christ must be a great example for the church, school, and parents living contemporarily. A fact one must understand: children is an important part of the ministry. Specifically, the church is insisted to prepare teachers and learners who have special competence, in order the target in teaching will be fulfilled. Children may acknowledge their sin, repent and be taught how to serve the Lord. It is therefore crucial in searching for teachers with specific criteria: born again, a local church member, loves working with children, showing the fruit of the spirit, loves the word of God, and loves learning. One remaining fact in relation with this is that the teachers can depicher the age characteristic of the children, so teaching may be appropriately given to the right standard of age. |
