This study is descriptive research resulting in qualitiaive data which took place at the GKI Gejayan Church in Yogyakarta. This study has as it’s background the author’s observation in several churches that the music ministry was not well organized, revealing very ineffective music administration. Often the administration of music in the church is given a very low priority. Although practically speaking, Christian worship services cannot be separated from good music. This study has as it’s main goal to describe the ministry of music administration in the GKI Gejayan Church in Yogyakarta. However this paper also describes important aspects and principles of church music administration, generally. |
