Abstract

This experimental study has a background based on the fact that many students in school do not manage their time in school well, for example their arriving at school late and also return home from school late. They also reenter the classroom after recess late and are late in turning in their homework. Based on the author’s research, teaching regarding the ethical use of time is very much lacking in the classroom. This research will specificically focus on the influence of teaching ethical time management on the self discipline of students. The results of this study prove the initial research hypothesis (teaching ethical use of time has a positive influence on the self discipline of students). The initial hypothesis has resulted in producing data proving it’s validity.Teaching the ethical use of time in school does indeed have a positive influence on the self-discipline of students.
