The development of SMEs is heavily influenced by the entrepreneurial aspect. Innovation ability and risk-taking courage have a big role in SME development. Therefore, in order for small industries to develop and at the same time to support the achievement of creative economic vision 2025, the development of entrepreneurship quality for SMEs in creative industry sector is a very important factor. The aim of this research is to identify the condition of entrepreneurship quality of small business entrepreneurs of craft industry sub-sector based on vision, planning, opportunity and risk-taking courage, and to analyze the strategy to develop entrepreneurship quality of small business enterpreneur in the subsector of handicraft industry as an effort to support creative economy in Sleman Regency. The research used descriptive analysis by integrating qualitative and quantitative approach. Data was collected through structured interviews, documentation, FGD and questionnaires. SWOT analysis is based on the factors of entrepreneurship quality. The result of analysis is known that the position of SME batik and weaving craft is in quadrant I, the right strategy to develop SME is market penetration strategy, by utilizing the strengths to take advantage of the available opportunities that available physical distribution channels available to maximize sales. |
