This article presents the results from the evaluation of the strength of the portal of SPA Maguwoharjo Yogyakarta Building using two dimensional analysis. The analysis was carried out for two portals using the SAP 2000.7,4 student version, following the guidelines of SNI 1726-2002. The result of the analysis showed that the fundamental period of the structure under nominal static equivalent base shear load was 16.47%, in accordance with SNI 1726-2002. The number of reinforcement for the beams and columns suggested by the result of the analysis in this study were less than the actual reinforcement installed in the portals. The difference in the number of reinforcement resulted from this analysis and from the analysis of the contractor arose because of the differences in the assumption and in the structural model that was adopted in the two analysis. |
